Chapter 17 – Economic Development Authority

§ 17.1-1 Political subdivision created.

There is hereby created a political subdivision of the state with such public and corporate powers as are set forth in the Industrial Development and Revenue Bond Act (Chapter 49, Title 15.2, Code of Virginia, as amended), including such powers as may hereafter be set forth from time to time in such Act.

§ 17.1-2 Name.

The name of the political subdivision of the state hereby created shall be the “Economic Development Authority of Appomattox County, Virginia.”
